Life gives us several chances to make a better person out of ourselves... while that
'several chances' might be true to an extent, each 'chance' is unique in nature. What looks impressive or admirable is the fact that a chance given to make myself better messed up one bit turns back on me and makes me feel guilty for a lifetime. When the 2nd chance shows up, I may not have recouped from the 1st one that went down the drain. However, the time has given people one thing and that is to recoup quicker and be sure that you don't commit the same mistake again though the scenario might be different.
Challenge in everyone's life is to decipher those 'chances' that we are given and if decrypted the way it should be, we move on to the next phase of challenges, if not, the same challenge comes in disguise. Turns out, the 2nd chances were quite a lot in many instances of my life. End of the day, those 'chances' were to make me a better person but one way or the other I have refused to become better.
While the part of my subconscious/conscious in denial could be true, what if it relates to the ways and means how he/she is raised? Would parenting be the primary reason for it or may be sowed the seeds that the reaped benefits become an expensive affair - i.e. too many chances taken and/or given!?
I am driving to a philosophical theory that one may not possibly fathom. What holds true is a person who did not intend to mess up their chances still do so due to factors that are/were influences of their growing up. Yet, a chance not put to good use reflects or impacts the person who missed it and NOT the root causes of why they did.
There is no straight forward conclusion to my writing and I am not trying to provide one. That said, if I do get a 2nd chance to go back in time and start over, I would choose 'Today', for 'Today', I probably am much better with the road that I took than imagining a life cycle that would've been in place with the road NOT taken. Does that mean, all that instances, incidents, inexperience, inhibitions, irritations, immaculate, immolation, impressions, etc. were meant to happen the way it did?
Something's can never be explained and so this blog post... A 2nd chance might prove useful for many but that would become an excuse for many as well to forcibly mess up the 1st and try to do things right the next time around. However, when they back in time, would time give them the luxury to remember what they did the 1st time?
Oddly enough, I cannot be more confusing than this... A 2nd chance is something I don't need for it wouldn't have been a better ride with the road NOT taken. Time is the answer... that's my only chance...
Happy Holiday Season!
