The 'Pursuit' of 'Happy'ness

Every now and then you will seemingly achieve your goal and eventually end up starting all over again.

The template you had for your...

speech, sales pitch, marketing brochure, business card, hand-shakes, elevator pitch, your formal dressing, your perfume, pop-a-mint while you are it, wake-up-early-cause-I-gotta-network, enter your business expenses, meet your client over a coffee, lunch on you for a chosen few, parallel phone calls, pitch to your vendors, selling point, money matters, report to your manager, provide the status update, what did you do today thoughts, Back to Mondays, yeah!, run late for the meeting, yell at the driver who cut you off, try and cut him off in return, read emails, send responses, ignore some of them, I-know-its-junk-email-but-still-read-the-subject-line-and-delete, leave your kid at the day-care, drop your wife at the Caltrain station or BART, pick-up-some-groceries-on-the-way-back-but-you-know-your-wife-will-not-be-happy-with-the-quantity-of-groceries-you-bought and many more....

appears to be redundant, duplicated, photocopied and everything that can signify the word 'Repeat and NEVER Repeal'.

The Holy books of all religion preach (or so I heard/was told) 'Do your job and NOT have any expectations on the end-result'. You go on until you wear yourself out, piss-off-your-family sometimes, never focus on the trivial issues that you normally would have, gossip when you brains were idle, wake up with a headache, go to bed thinking hard about the next day tasks/meetings/plan/strategy, job search, client search, vendor search, car key search and your shoe-sock search. I am sure you don't skip lunch/supper, oh well! What are those business lunches/dinners for then? :)

Life goes on and all these for what!? I wondered...

For us to be Happy "and that's the little part of life" but the larger portion is that 'Pursuit' of 'Happy'ness. That my friend is the moral of the story in the movie 'Pursuit of Happyness' => A true life story of the current millionaire Christopher Paul Gardner => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Gardner
